Zillertal Valley - Tirol
Approximately 70 km south-east of Innsbruck, 30 km south of the entrance to Zillertal valley. The surrounding valley is wide open and sunny. The Zillertal Alps reach up to 3,000 m and range among one of the most beautiful ski areas of the Alps. When the fog descends on the small villages of the Zillertal (Ziller Valley) they may as well be cut off from the rest of the world. Squeezed between the Tuxer, Zillertaler, and Kitzbühler Alps, these towns are remote and peaceful year round. Boasting more miles of trails than roads and a larger ski patrol than police force, the Zillertal is the place to come for hiking and skiing away from the masses.
